Schaatsbaan Museumplein

Every winter, there’s ice right in the middle of Museumplein. Between the Rijksmuseum, the Concertgebouw and the Van Gogh Museum. Skating, a lap with friends, then something warm at ’t Wak. It’s nothing new: there was an ice rink here more than a century ago too.

We built the website. Pick a day in the calendar and you go straight to the tickets for that day. Opening hours for the rink and the food and drinks are all in one place, the clock counts down to opening, and the site speaks Dutch and English. The team publishes news, activities and packages themselves through CloudCannon.

Winter is short. The site has to be ready from day one, and it is.
